Who we are

Good Revenue (formerly Travel Institute, ABN 12 641 473 298) is a revenue management consultancy based in Sydney. In this policy, “we” and “us” means Good Revenue. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • When you contact us or book a revenue review: your name, email, property name, property type, number of rooms and anything you write in your message. If you used the upside calculator, the figures you entered come with the form. We also note which page you sent it from and, if you arrived from one of our campaigns, which one.
  • When you sign up for Revenue notes: your email address.
  • When you're a client: the contact details of the people we work with, and your property's booking, rate and revenue figures, which we handle under our agreement with you.
  • When you use this website: if you agree to analytics cookies, which pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and roughly where you are. Without your agreement we use only the cookies the site needs to work.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to you, prepare your revenue review, provide and report on our services, send the Revenue notes if you asked for them, improve this website, and meet our legal obligations. We don't sell personal information, and we never publish a client's name or figures without their written permission.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers that help us run the business, and only what they need:

  • Email and contact management: [Brevo, or the tool you choose]
  • Booking calendar for review calls: [Brevo Meetings, Cal.com or Calendly]
  • Website hosting and spam protection: [your host, and Cloudflare Turnstile]
  • Website analytics, if you agree to it: [Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity]

Some of these providers store information outside Australia, including in [the European Union and the United States]. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard similar to the Australian Privacy Principles. We may also share information with our professional advisers, or where the law requires it.

Emails from us

We only send the Revenue notes and other marketing emails to people who asked for them. Every email says who it's from and has a link to unsubscribe, which takes effect straight away.

How we keep it safe

We keep personal information in secure, access-controlled systems, give our team access only to what their work needs, and delete or anonymise information we no longer need. [Your retention period, for example: enquiries that don't become clients are deleted after two years.]

Seeing and correcting your information

You can ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, at any time. Emailhello@goodrevenue.au and we'll reply within 30 days.
